How to integrate your Filevine account with DocketBird

Integrating your Filevine account with DocketBird is easy. Just follow these steps:

  1. Log in to your Filevine account. You must be an account administrator.

  2. In Filevine, navigate to Advanced > Service Accounts.

  3. Create a new service account. Name it "DocketBird". (To get to the service account creation page, you may first need to search for and select your organization.)

  4. Create your Access Token:

    1. Navigate to Filevine's Access Token Page.

    2. Basic instructions are here:

    3. For "Name", enter "DocketBird".

    4. For "User", select the service account you just created.

    5. Under "Scopes", check "Filevine API Access".

    6. Click the "Create" button in the bottom-right corner of the screen.

    7. You will see a window with your Personal Access Token. Copy the Personal Access token and save it in a safe place.

  5. Complete the Integration:

    1. Navigate to DocketBird's Filevine Integration Page

    2. Enter your Peronal Access Token, and connect.
